Udta Punjab falls victim to piracy

‘Udta Punjab’ has landed in more trouble. The movie which was locked in a legal battle with the censor board has reportedly been leaked online just two days before its release. The makers of the film have alleged a complaint to the Mumbai Police.

The lead cast as well as others from the industry including Aamir Khan asked people not to download the prints. Meanwhile, film’s co-producer Anurag Kashyap has urged downloaders to wait till Saturday till they decide to not pay for the film.  According to the reports, the leaked copy had a run time of two hours 20 minutes.

The controversial film was leaked online on Wednesday after the Bombay High Court passed the film with A certificate with only a single cut.
